Advice Now is a website providing accurate, up-to-date information on rights and legal issues. It aims to inform people about the law, but also to acknowledge the stress involved and provide practical guidance on how to manage problems - including when and how to get expert help. Community Legal Advice is a free and confidential advice service paid for by legal aid. They can advise you legal issues concerning benefits, employment, housing, education and more, and help you to access legal aid - financial support with legal costs. Run by and for disabled people Disability Law Service is a registered national charity providing high quality information and legal advice to disabled and deaf people for over 30 years.

Equality and Human Rights Commissiom

The Equality and Human Rights Commission has extensive legal powers and a dedicated directorate of expert lawyers who are specialists in equality law allowing them to take legal action on behalf of individuals. This is usually where there are strategic opportunities to push the boundaries of the law. They can also offer legal advice through their helpline (see below).

The Legal Services Commission administrate the provision of legal aid funding and information in the UK. If you need legal advice, you should contact Community Legal Advice in the first instance (see above).
